Quality Improvement
Introduction

One of the main reasons for having an integrated children's plan is....."...to establish agreed improvement objectives for services and clear strategies for delivery, outcomes, measure of performance and timescales." (Scottish Executive Guidance).

Our Quality Improvement Framework is intended to ensure that all Delivery Strategies within our plan become institutionalised into our management processes - establishing a firm basis for local quality assurance that supports external inspection.

QIF provides a vehicle for promoting consistency and coherence of quality improvement - within and across services for children and young people. It fosters a shared culture and language of quality improvement amoungst all our professionals.
